Case study

Rick’s Lakeside Rental

A four-season lake home on Musser Lake in Phillips, Wisconsin. I built a site that answers every guest question up front and lets guests check dates and book online, and I still manage it today.

What I built

A small business site that books itself.

Booking on the homepage

An availability calendar sits right on the homepage. Guests pick check-in and check-out dates and reserve the lake home online.

Camper sites, booked the same way

The three camper sites have their own calendar and booking form, with rates starting at $60 for two nights.

Prices up front

Nightly and weekly rates, the cleaning fee and a downloadable rental agreement are all on one page, with no surprises at checkout.

A reason to stay longer

A Nearby Attractions page covers fishing, boating, hiking, hunting and local favorites like the Wisconsin Concrete Park.
