Case study
A teaching ministry with a global online family and four recurring live gatherings. I designed and built fhmi.net around that schedule and a deep library of teaching, with the Events plugin keeping every service and join link current.
Client
Felix Harcourt Ministries, led by Pastor Felix Harcourt
Ministry
Evangelical teaching ministry and OneHouse, its online community
Built with
WordPress, Elementor Pro, Events, WooCommerce
Work
Design, development and the Events plugin
FHMI meets online, so the schedule is the heart of the site. Two gatherings are weekly and two are monthly, and each repeats on its own pattern.
Every Sunday
9:00 AM CST
Every Wednesday
7:00 PM CST
First Friday
11:00 AM CST
First Saturday
8:00 AM CST
Every gathering streams live on OneHouse, Facebook and YouTube.
A site that keeps a busy ministry schedule and years of teaching easy to find.
Events
Patterns like “first Friday of the month” trip up most calendar plugins. In Events, each gathering is entered once and the next date always appears on its own.
Easy to manage
The ministry team manages events in the WordPress dashboard they already use. There is no outside calendar service to sign in to or pay for.
Sermons to listen to, videos to watch, sermon notes and Words of Wisdom going back to 2022.
Healing prayers visitors can read on the page or listen to.
A path for new believers, plus one-on-one sessions with Pastor Felix booked online.
A shop for the ministry’s books and a giving page for donations and partnership.
I build websites for churches and ministries, and Events is available on its own or in the Church Bundle. Churches and ministries get 50% off every build.
